Today this blog goes live, and I owe the clean(er) and class(ier) look of it to the Geek, who can freshen up a style sheet with one arm around my shoulders… He wasn’t wild about my #AC0807 and suggested I replace it with #FF6600 (his personal favorite and trademark color), but I insisted on keeping my lipstick red.

Hi Dennis. Thanks! CSS is fun, I’m sure you’ll enjoy it. But Vincent’s so much better at it than I am and he has the right tools to make it more efficient too. Plus he’s got the eye. Yes, I know about Google Talk. I try not to give Google access to more of me than absolutely necessary. I’m happy with Skype, and use Pidgin to communicate with people who use iChat, MSN, and Yahoo IM accounts (text only and file transfer is dodgy and the UI is clunky, but it serves its purpose).
