I attended an Entrepreneur Academy at the newly created Paris branch of Keiretsu Forum (the world’s largest business angel network) in January. It was a three-hour workshop on how to put together a successful investor presentation.
During the workshop, the president of Keiretsu Paris, Jack Bays, offered some advice for French startups looking for funding. He said they often tend to look no further than the French market, but that they need to be targeting at least the European market if they want to get serious funding.
Keiretsu Paris offers a number of free workshops through its Entrepreneur Academy, and I encourage you to take advantage of them! It’s a great opportunity to ask an investor all those burning questions face-to-face. And there were drinks and snacks.
The next presentation skills workshops will take place on April 17 (in English), May 15 (in French), and June 12 (in English). If you’re interested, send an e-mail to paris@keiretsuforum.com.
